The official genetic evaluations for DECEMBER 2024 are now available!
Canada was among the first countries in the world to introduce genomic evaluations starting with the Holstein breed 15 years ago, and Jerseys followed a year later in 2010. Over time, as each breed grew its reference population of proven sires and genotyped cows, Canadian genomic evaluations were also introduced for the Ayrshire, Brown Swiss and Guernsey breeds. Lactanet is pleased to now publish the first genomic evaluations for the Milking Shorthorn breed with this genetic evaluation release.
Thanks for making Lactanet your No. 1 choice for genetic information!
